Matthew Krause is a NCCPA Board certified physician assistant, who joined Dr. Whiddon’s team in 2019. He previously practiced with another orthopaedic group in Pinellas County since 2015. As a physician assistant, Matthew is trained to diagnose and treat common orthopaedic conditions in the clinic setting, as well as first assist in surgery. He has surgical experience with adult reconstruction, arthroscopy/sports medicine, trauma, and foot and ankle reconstruction.

Matthew graduated from the College of Charleston in 2008, with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He attended the New York Institute of Technology for his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in 2015. Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Matthew has now found a home on the West Coast of Florida. He enjoys fishing, playing golf and is an avid fan of live music.
